Virginia Dietrich Photography began in an unusual way. Although trained and working as an attorney, Virginia Dietrich always had a passion for photography,toting her camera around the United States from San Francisco to Santa Fe to Savannah, and around the globe from England to Ethiopia to Egypt, visually recording moments in time… documenting events as they happen ..making a record.. of time, people and places.

   With over 20 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney, Virginia Dietrich has fine-tuned the art of storytelling, painting pictures with words. Along the way, she added a graduate degree in Producing Film and Video, and this makes her uniquely qualified to tell a legal story.

   And so it was in June of 2006 that Virginia Dietrich traveled to Ethiopia with the National Bar Association international delegates, and her documentation of National Bar Association activities began. With a passion for law and art, it was a natural fit. With an eye for design and an ear for storytelling, documenting the National Bar Association activities was fun, exciting and purposeful. Turning a National Bar Association travel or event experience into a DVD movie not only recaptures the flavor and intent of the event, it preserves the legal history of National Bar Association in a beautiful visual art form.

   A camera lens provides an eye for the present with a view towards the future. Documenting African American legal history through the eyes of the National Bar Association will provide a rich legacy for generations to come. It is a privilege and a calling for Virginia Dietrich to provide this service.

   Photography services include event and travel photography. Photography products include prints and/or digital photo images on CDs.

   Video production services include documentary and promotional videos utilizing still and/or moving images with script and voiceover.
